Chabad Moldova is the heart of Jewish life in Kishinev and across the country, reviving a proud heritage after war, persecution, and decades of communist repression. Founded in 1990 by Rabbi Zalman Abelsky zt”l and Leah Abelsky, our mission continues today through dedicated shluchim families serving 18 communities nationwide. From education and prayer to humanitarian aid and refugee support, Chabad Moldova helps every Jew reconnect, belong, and build a stronger Jewish future together.
