Chabad Bender - Tiraspol: Cultivating Jewish Life in Transnistria
Welcome to Chabad Bender – Tiraspol, a central hub of Jewish life as part of Chabad Moldova. Located in Bender, our community warmly welcomes Jews of all ages and backgrounds.
Our mission is to strengthen a sense of belonging and connection to Jewish heritage for every Jew in the region. From uplifting Shabbat meals to enriching educational programs, Chabad Bender offers many opportunities to connect, learn, and experience Jewish life.
The community is led by Rabbi Mendel and Leah Gotsel, who serve the local community with dedication and warmth. Working closely alongside them is Mr. Mark Finkelzon, Chairman of the local Jewish community. Rabbi Mendel brings valuable educational and communal experience from Kfar Chabad, while Leah, fluent in Russian, plays an important role in community outreach and support.
